Anna Bodonhelyi is a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Enkelejda Kasneci. She finished her M.Sc. studies in Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and Mechatronics Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, in parallel. Anna focuses on the automatic detection of self-regulation problems (such as mind-wandering) with machine learning during online lectures.

Sofia Jaime is a researcher at the Chair for Statistics and Data Science in Social Sciences and the Humanities (SODA) led by Prof. Dr. Frauke Kreuter. Sofia is interested in race and ethnicity and automated decision making processes as well as new data collection methods. She holds an MA in Social Sciences from Carlos III University of Madrid, an MA in Migration Studies from Comillas University of Madrid and a BA in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires.

Enkelejda Kasneci is a Distinguished Professor of Human-Centered Technologies for Learning at the School of Social Sciences & Technology and a Core Member of the Munich Data Science Institute. She received her M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Stuttgart in 2007 as a BOSCH scholar and her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Tübingen in 2013, for which she was awarded the Research Prize of the Federation Südwestmetall in 2014. She established the Perception Engineering Lab and served as an assistant professor at the University of Tübingen from 2015 to 2019. Her research focuses on Human-Centered Technologies and AI systems that sense and infer the user's cognitive state and intentions based on multimodal data. She is a member of the Cyber Valley research alliance, the DFG Excellence Cluster Machine Learning in the Sciences, and served as Junior Fellow of the German Informatics Society (GI) from 2016 to 2021. Kasneci is actively engaged in supporting young women in STEM and is a TPC member and reviewer for major conferences and journals in Human-Computer Interaction, Human-AI Interaction, and Multimodal Interaction.

Emmelie is a program manager at MDSI. After studying East Asian Studies and Political Economics in Shanghai and Heidelberg, Emmelie received her PhD in Sinology from Freie Universität Berlin. She joined TUM MDSI in 2022 and coordinates the development and implementation of various projects at MDSI. Her main focus at MDSI is on education and teaching.

Sylvia is Managing Director of MDSI. With a legal background and almost two decades of work experience in science management in the Max Planck Society, she joined TUM in 2021. One of her special concerns is the support of female careers (in science). 

Professor Frauke Kreuter holds the Chair of Statistics and Data Science at LMU Munich, Germany and at the University of Maryland, USA, she is Co-director of the Social Data Science Center (SoDa) and faculty member in the Joint Program in Survey Methodology (JPSM). She is an elected fellow of the American Statistical Association, and received the Warren Mitofsky Innovators Award of the American Association for Public Opinion Research in 2020. In addition to her academic work, Professor Kreuter is the Founder of the International Program for Survey and Data Science (IPSDS); Co-Founder of the Coleridge Initiative, whose goal is to accelerate data-driven research and policy around human beings and their interactions for program management, policy development, and scholarly purposes by enabling efficient, effective, and secure access to sensitive data about society and the economy; and Co-Founder of the German language podcast Dig Deep (www.digdeep.de).

Iulia Pasov is an Engineering Manager for Data Science at SIXT SE. With a background in software engineering and more than 10 years of experience in working with AI solutions, she focuses on building data driven services meant to optimise car rental processes. Iulia relies on her experience to empower others to reach successful data science or software engineering careers. She is also pursuing a PhD with LMU & Politehnica University of Bucharest.

Kathrin Seßler is a Ph.D. student at TUM under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Enkelejda Kasneci (Chair for Human-Centered Technologies for Learning). She finished her M.Sc. studies in Computer Science at the University of Tübingen. During her Master Thesis she started working with Language Models and her research focus is now on the application of Natural Language Processing in the educational domain.

Johanna Sommer is a PhD student at TUM supervised by Stephan Günnemann (Data Analytics and Machine Learning Group). Before joining TUM for a Master's degree in computer science, she obtained her Bachelor's degree through a dual study program with IBM, which included research internships in San Francisco and Zurich. Johanna holds the MDSI / Linde PhD fellowship and now works on GNNs for molecule generation and combinatorial optimization problems.

Wiebke Weber is Scientific Manager at the Chair for Statistics and Data Science in Social Sciences and the Humanities (SODA) at LMU, Munich and Research Fellow at the  Research and Expertise Centre for Survey Methodology (RECSM) of Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain).
