In their own words
What WiDS Munich means to attendees.
In October 2025, I attended the WiDS Munich Conference for the first time and found it truly inspiring: so many bright women in one place! Two months later, I quit my science communication job. One month after that, I left for a sabbatical in Canada, working on family farms and learning data analysis through online courses. Now, as I search for a new job, I'm volunteering on a Data4Good project to help an NGO improve their data structure and reporting. It feels like coming full circle: the project is organised by CorrelAid, which I first encountered at the WiDS Munich Conference.
Outstanding women doing outstanding work in data science. Everyone is welcome to listen, ask, and join in.
